As a result the music and lyrics are nearly completely improvised. Three of these are from separate visits of brian and mark to vancouver throughout 2007. The rest are from april of 2008 when Alyssa and I visited Kamloops. They're more refined, comfortable, and mature than the recordings found in "I came from a small town".*r*rThe photograph "Towards Los Angeles" was taken in March 1937 by Dorothea Lange, a photojournalist most famous for documenting the depression.
